Consistent Combat

Welcome to Consistent Combat.

This is part of the "Made for Fusion" series of mods, that are designed to be modular so you can install them on their own or all be combined together to eventually form a complete overhaul of the games mechanics and textures without straying too far from the vanilla ethos.

The current series line up:

  This mod is for those of you who want to:

  • []Lessen the abundance of damage sponge enemies at high levels.[/]

    []Implement critical damage into combat without relying on VATS.[/]

    []Not feel invincible later in the game.[/]

    []Experience a fair challenge throughout your entire playthrough.[/]

    So what does this mod actually do?

    Well it uses a complex set of subroutines to... Yeah, no. Super simple value changes in xEdit!

    Health scaling

    • []NPC health bonus on level up halved from 5 to 2. 5.[/]

      []Player Health bonus on level up halved from 2. 5 to 1. 25[/]

      []Player health bonus per point of endurance doubled to 10 from 5[/]

      NPC Health ranges and resistances

      • []Most enemies have been tweaked.[/]

        []High level human enemies no longer have health pools bigger than super mutants or legendary bosses.[/]

        []Deathclaws are more resistant to all types of damage[/]

        []Low level bandits and human enemies have higher health than rad roaches and bloatflys.[/]

        []Legendary and late game boss enemies like the mirelurk queen are still tough![/]

        []Most of the general gist of these changes are lifted from: Unbogus health ranges so go have a look at that mod if you want something similar just for NPC health.[/]

        Damage multipliers

        • []Bodypart value changes to multiple races.[/]

          []Humans take more damage to headshots and slightly more to the torso[/]

          []Other humanoid races take more damage to the head.[/]

          []Power armor now takes a lot more damage to the fusion core slot. So target that weak point to force opponents to fight you fairly![/]

          []Player now takes 50% damage in VATs up from just 10% in vanilla![/]
