Charlotte Loves High Heels

WHAT

Adds support for the Fallout 4 High Heels System to the adorable Charlotte Simple Companion mod by YODOMARU.

This is no longer just a file replacer. But the ESLified ESP Plugin does not occupy a load order slot.

WHY

By default, Charlotte's custom skeleton does not support High Heels System, due to lack of a COM_Override node in the nif. The result is that, if you equip Charlotte with some HHS enabled high heels, the HHS effect does not work at all and her feet/shoes will remain stuck in the ground - even if you have HHS properly installed and even if HHS works just fine on other NPCs and the player char.

This mod provides remedy by:

- Replacing the custom skeleton.nif in Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\Charlotte with a HHS compatible version that has the COM_Override node. YODOMARU's edits to the skeleton are fully preserved, so no Giraffe neck for Charlotte.

- Adding an ActorType_HHS keyword to Charlotte's custom race, so it'll work with newer HHS versions without you having to edit any ini files.

HOW

Install (or manually extract ESP and BA2 to Data folder) and activate the plugin.

It must be located below companion_charlotte.esp in your load order.

PLEASE NOTE

This mod will not do anything visible by itself!

You still need to install the Fallout 4 High Heels System and you still need to give Charlotte some HHS enabled high heels - Only then will you benefit from the effect of this mod. For max immersion, I do recommend my f-me shoes mod if you also have AAF installed in your game.

UNINSTALL

Disable or Remove Plugin (and BA2 Archive).

This mod is safe to remove from your game at any time.
