About this mod

A small, immersive audio tweak for Edmond's Brotherhood Power Armor Drop Team. This patch integrates the iconic Brotherhood of Steel arrival music directly into the airdrop sequence, creating a truly cinematic experience when your armor lands.

How it works

This mod replaces the main script from Edmond's patch. Instead of playing a generic sound effect, it triggers the game's native MusicType system.

Requirements & Load Order

I personally play and tested this patch on game version 1. 10. 163. I cannot guarantee compatibility with other versions (including the Next-Gen update), although since this is a simple script replacer, its compatibility should ultimately depend on whether the base mods work on your specific game version.

This patch is strictly built for The Brotherhood Power Armor Drop Team (v1. 2). Attempting to use this patch with any other version of Edmond's mod will likely break the script or cause issues.

To use this patch, you must have the following mods installed:

1. Power Armor Airdrop by marmo1233 (The core mod)

2. The Brotherhood Power Armor Drop Team by Edmond (The Brotherhood expansion)

3. This Patch (Must overwrite the script from Edmond's mod)

Installation

Install via your preferred mod manager (Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex).

When your mod manager asks to resolve the file conflict for LR_PowerArmorQuestScript.pex, make sure to set this patch to load AFTER Edmond's mod.

Known Issues & Timing

The music is set to trigger the moment the smoke grenade hits the ground. However, because the actual landing time of the Power Armor is subject to the original script, the timing of the fall can vary.

This means the synchronization won't always be a 1-to-1 match every single time, but the overall result is still highly satisfying.
