📋 About This Mod
Every single cap is a Nuka Cola cap and there's a ton of Nuka Cola variants out there. So...... this mod adds different types of caps, retextured with brands of different Nuka Cola flavours. Check the pics!
Light ESP, safe to install/uninstall at anytime.
1k, 2k version available.
If you want swaps in the world but are not interested in buildable objects, there's an optional esp in the misc files section as well.
Base Object Swapper is hard requirement if you want the new items to appear throughout the world. If you are only interested in buildable settlement object you can use this mod without BOS.
v. 1. 1: adds variety to caps stashes as well
v. 1. 2: cap stashes redone, added vim caps (check the pics)
v. 1. 2. 1: updated ini for compatibility with True Nuka Cola Bottle Caps Stashes
v. 1. 3: thanks to Gizmoooooo and their resources/permissions, I added new Gwinnett Factory & Vim Caps. You can now build caps and stashes in settlements. They're under the main menu SPECIAL tab. They behave like statics, won't move when you touch them, will need 1 steel to build, and will reward 0 resources when scrapped!
This Fallout 4 mod retextures bottle caps and cap stashes with new brands and colors, then distributes them throughout the world using the BOS (Beantown Interiors? or another framework). With 80 endorsements and over 11,500 downloads, it's a niche cosmetic overhaul for players who want more visual variety in loot.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Decent community traction with 80 endorsements and over 11k downloads.
- Adds visual variety to a common loot item without changing gameplay.
- Lightweight cosmetic mod that's easy to install and remove.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires BOS (likely Beantown Interiors) as a dependency, which may not be installed by everyone.
- Only affects bottle caps and stashes—if you want broader loot changes, this won't cover it.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter the same textures or world placements.
For Fallout 4 players who enjoy detailed world-building and want their bottle caps to look more interesting. If you're a lore-friendly purist or don't care about cap aesthetics, skip it—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have BOS installed and load this mod after it to ensure the retextures apply correctly.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to easily track and uninstall if you want to revert.
- Check the mod's comments for any known conflicts with other texture overhauls.
