📋 About This Mod

What is this and what does it do?

In the Borderlands series Skags are large dog-like alien creatures that live in borrows and operate in packs. I chose to make a non-elemental Badass Skag variant for this (though it has the long back spines of a shock or corrosive version). This skag model is a direct mesh replacer (has its own textures) of Dogmeat. As this is a direct replacer it does not require and .esp or and .esl to work.

Notes:

I'm aware the Skags have a 3 jawed mouth and that the vertical jaw is supposed to animate but since I'm not an animator (and it would probably need a custom skeleton) the vertical part of the jaw does not move.

The body is a bit "puffier" then vanilla Dogmeat so many of the dog armors (both vanilla and modded) will probably clip when worn. I personally find the Reinforced Dog Collar and Light Dog Armor work well with the least amount of clipping. Most (if not all) headgear will clip very badly with the skags head due to its unique shape.

Why?

Am currently on a Borderlands kick, I'm doing a playthrough with my Borderlands 2 Lilith Outfit and wanted a Skag Dogmeat to continue the theme. I will probably create more Borderlands outfits to go with the Lilith one before releasing it.
