✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 17,218 endorsements and nearly a million downloads.
- Lightweight F4SE plugin that does one thing and does it well.
- Can smooth out script-heavy modded playthroughs.
⚠️ Cons
- Only helps in specific scenarios—if you're not hitting ScrapHeap limits, you won't notice a difference.
- Requires F4SE, so you're locked into that dependency and need to keep it updated.
- No detailed documentation on exactly which cases benefit most—you'll have to test it yourself.
For Fallout 4 modders running heavy script mods or complex load orders who want to squeeze out extra performance. Also for players experiencing script lag or stuttering in settlements. Skip if you play vanilla or have a light mod list—you won't see a benefit.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the latest F4SE version installed and that it matches your game version.
- Install via your mod manager (like Vortex or MO2) to keep track of it easily.
- If you're using a mod that also tweaks memory settings, check for conflicts—this mod only touches ScrapHeap.
