📋 About This Mod
As the name suggests, this mod is an expansion of Alias - Framework by WhiskyTangoFawks, and does two things:
-
[]It ports the additional male, female, and surnames from my Real Name Settlers Expanded mod into the Alias - Framework name lists. As a result, male names are increased from 200 to 316, female names from 200 to 335, and last names from 100 to 507. These new names will appear for any of the Alias mods that call on those lists (e.g., Alias - Settlers, etc.).
[
]About a half dozen of the Framework's stock FormIDs were pointed at the wrong names, causing those names to be referenced twice, while the intended names were not being used at all. Alias Framework Expanded corrects this by adjusting the errant FormIDs to call on their proper target names.Compatibility
Since this mod simply adds names to the existing name lists, it should be compatible with anything that is compatible with the parent mod.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge download count (308k) shows it's widely used and trusted.
- Simple, focused purpose—does exactly what it says without bloat.
- Still maintained as of December 2023, so it's not abandoned.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires the base Alias Framework, so it's useless without it.
- No detailed feature list—just says it expands names, so you don't know exactly what's added.
- Only updates names, so if you want other NPC changes, this won't help.
For players who already use Alias Framework and want more variety in NPC names. Skip if you don't use the base mod or want more than just name expansion.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the base Alias Framework installed first, or this mod won't work.
- Since it's a simple name list expansion, you can install it manually by dropping files into your mod folder.
- Check the mod page for any load order notes, but typically name list mods don't conflict much.
