Wasteland Player PLEASE NOTE I am no longer able to continue development on this mod. However, as I\'ve always said in the past, anyone is perfectly welcome to do whatever they want with it. That means you can add more components, change the core files, add translations, redistribute the mod within another package, sell it at Wal Mart, do whatever you want with it. If you want to pick up the project in its entirety, PM me and we\'ll work out upload rights. I\'ll even answer questions to the best of my ability, if you can\'t understand what the hell I was thinking when I wrote a particular script. To this end, I\'m going to upload the sc_wasteland_pimp.esp file that makes up the WP Core under \"misc content\". This is the file that gets converted to . ESM before a Core release. To newcomers, you do NOT need (or want!) this file. As a parting note, I\'d like to thank the community for being (mostly) supportive of the work I have put into this project. WP has a few minor bugs that I never found time to fix, but I\'d like to believe that my work was at least mostly on par with official content, and that was the impression I got from your feedback. It was a lot of work, but more than anything, WP was a hell of a lot of fun to write, and your support made it all worthwhile. Again, if any of you want to pick Wasteland Player up and run with it, please, PLEASE do it, and let me know it\'s being worked on! I hate seeing projects die. I\'ll see you all in Fallout 4! ** Wasteland Player is a series of Fallout 3 plugins designed to add depth and immersion to the game. It accomplishes this primarily in the form of new quests, most of which are freeform. Each quest generally culminates with the addition of a lover, and some components allow options to turn that lover into a prostitute. If you pimp out your lover(s), you can expect a weekly payment of 250 Caps apiece, but this will drop to half if they are infected with an STD. Each potential lover can be downloaded separately from the main project, so you have complete control over which characters may become love interests. All of these are marked as \"optional files\" in the download section. Note that just downloading the Core files won\'t actually add any love interests; you must also select which lovers you wish to include. A note on STDs: If you have sex with your lover for the first time, there is a small chance of picking up an STD from him/her. If (s)he is clean, then you won\'t ever run a risk of getting an STD from him/her again -- unless you decide to pimp her out! Because (s)he is no longer having relations exclusively with you, you\'ll run a risk of infection every time you sleep with him/her. STDs are expensive to remove: 500 Caps for yourself and 500 Caps for your lover -- though you COULD just leave her to her fate.... To remove an STD, you need to talk to a doctor. NOTE: Using Fallout Mod Manager, the optimal load order is as follows: Fallout3
