📋 About This Mod
QuickStart v. 0. 1. 0 ========================= This mod is meant for New Games. In fact it is pointless to use otherwise. =============\\ Where it Goes: =============/ To install this mod, simply extract the archive to your \"\\Fallout 3\\Data\" folder. Let it overwrite if it wants to. Then activate \"QuickStart.esp\" in the Data Files section of your favorite Fallout 3 launcher, and start the game. =============\\ What it Does: =============/ This mod starts a New Game player off at the beginning of the Escape! quest, skipping the entire beginning sequence from birth to just after the GOAT Exam. The player is awakened from a strange dream by Amata, after which point the character generation begins. The player then chooses name, gender, appearance and Tag! skills in quick succession. Once the conversation with Amata is over, the player can then use the baby book on their desk to set their S. P. E. C. I. A. L. points. After that, the game plays out as it normally does from that point on. Questions, comments, hate mail, naked photographs and horse dung may all be sent to my e-mail address, DoorToThePsyche@gmail.com. ==============================\\ Current Snags Being Worked Out: ==============================/ - The game will repeat the message about the baby book until you either take all your other possessions from your room, or leave Vault 101, whatever comes first. ==============\\ KNOWN CONFLICTS ==============/ - Mods that affect the CG quests - Other mods that change how the game begins ============\\ Thanks Be To: ============/ In any particular order, - Bethesda for the GECK and for giving Fallout new life - everyone who has given me feedback - everyone who likes this mod. ===\\ Why? ===/===\\ Because! =======/
