📋 About This Mod
VERSION 2. 0. 0 OVERVIEW Minute Minder is an on-screen clock for Fallout 3. It displays the game day of the week and the time of day at specified intervals, such as every 15 minutes of game time. FEATURES NEW! In-game configuration menu. NEW! Selectable time interval. NEW! Configurable hotkey to display the current time. (Requires Fallout Script Extender, a.k.a. FOSE.) Displays the time in 12-hour format, e.g. 1:00 p.m., 24-hour format, e.g. 13:00, and military-style 24-hour format, e.g. 1300 hours. Handles time scaling twice default to real-time (timescales 60 to 1) and adjusts how often Minute Minder runs to minimize processing. Can display or supress during combat. COMPATIBILITY Minute Minder is compatible with everything because it changes nothing. Fallout Script Extender v1 or later is required only for the Time Now feature. http://fose.silverlock.org/ Works in Operation: Anchorage, however, FOSE and LIVE do not work together. If you run Anchorage by using LIVE, the Time Now feature will not be available. See the following with info about running Anchorage without using LIVE. http://thereticule.com/2009/01/27/fallout-3-operation-anchorage-so-you-still-want-to-buy-it/
Minute Minder adds an on-screen clock to Fallout 3, showing the day of the week and time of day at set intervals like every 15 minutes of game time. A simple utility for players who want to track time without opening the Pip-Boy.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Handy for immersion—no more pausing to check the Pip-Boy every five minutes.
- 296 endorsements and 5,053 downloads show it's a trusted little tool.
- Simple concept that does exactly what it says: on-screen time tracking.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2009, so it may not play nice with modern mod setups or DLC.
- No config options mentioned—you might be stuck with the default interval.
- Could conflict with other UI mods that alter the HUD or add similar widgets.
For Fallout 3 players who hate pausing to check the Pip-Boy for the time and want a lightweight HUD addition. Skip if you're running a heavily modded UI setup or expect fancy customization—this is a bare-bones clock.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Place the files in your Fallout 3 Data folder and enable the mod via the launcher or mod manager.
- If you use FOSE or other UI mods, test this early to catch conflicts before your save gets deep.
- Check the in-game settings or readme for interval options—if none exist, you're stuck with the default.
