FOWE - Fallout Winter Edition

As of 3 June 2009 I will be gone on business, for those that know Uncle Sam, you know what i mean. I am considering this mod a community mod, anyone can use it, fix it, redo it, whatever. It will be over a year before i can get back into modding. I will slowy be updating the mod, for anyone who wants to try and fix it before i can, here is where to start: The armor, you can probably figure that one out. The flashing textures is happening due to me changing textures of the mesh within the GECK. Open up a static object like a Paradise falls static piece, and there are certain textures i changed that didnt need to be. Thats why some buildings flash, because if the change. Pixilated textures is probably another conflict in the GECK with the land textures i changed. Or i didnt Generate the landscape textures properly in the GECK and the normals got screwed up somewhere. DLC OPERATION ANCHORAGE IS REQUIRED....... There are 3 Options available; FOWE HIGH uses the higher resoulion texutres FOWE-LITE which uses Operation Anhcorage base textures FOWE-Clothing ADDON adds my clothing and armor The files are large, i split them them up, hopefully i didnt foget a texture.... Part 1 Lite Version Part 1 High Version Part 2 Lite and High Version ::NOTE:: -Part 2 Lite and High Version includes Part 3 of HIGH Ver -Part 3 of HIGH Version is the Building LOD, gives the downtown and other houses snow textures, you can use HIGH Part 3 with LITE version if you want TESTING SPECS: ~I tested this mod on high at Full settings with HDR at 1680x1050 reolution getting 60 to to 30 with an average of 50+ FPS with Nvidia 8800GTX, INTEL Dual Core processor, 4GB ram, WIN Vista 64 Bit. That was without any other mods EDIT: Upon further testing i have found that using 20+ mods including mods like FOOK, MMM, FWE, that there is not a big change in MY system, only more stuttering when changing cells. EDIT: Also, i have recieved word, check the message board, that this mod is working with Offical Patch 1. 5, it may have been just my system that didnt work, but i wont guarantee that it will work with 1. 5, especially if you use othe mods that wont work with it of course. There are still issues that need to be addressed in all 3 downloads, mainly in the Clothing ADDON, as my knowledge of Blender and Nifskope using fallout meshes is not up to par completely. PLEASE post your screenshots from around the wasteland or post or send me screenshots of things that need fixin If you wish to make addons or fix any of my crap by all means do so, i may or may not be able to fix everything in time for my next departure for my job. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
