Some of the collection highlights include:
- 4k Graphics Overhaul - The newest 4k Capital Wastescape and other 2k textures, along with LOD, have been included to provide a stunning landscape. Collection works for any other resolution as well.
- More Voiced Quests - Fully-voiced quests including Of Monsters and Men, Devil’s Wish, and the latest, “No Such Thing as Bad Publicity.”
- Enhanced Gameplay - The collection is based on the newest mod guide, Ultimate Fallout 3 (DIY) build, from KayScotts to provide numerous gameplay and quality of life enhancements to the experience.
PREREQUISITES
- A legal copy of Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition (GOTY).
- A clean install of Fallout 3 to avoid potential issues.
- Ensure you have run the game once using original launcher to create the INI files, allowed the game to detect your system quality, and selected Options to set the game resolution for your monitor.
- Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable (x86), both 2013 and 2019 versions installed.

INSTALLATION (All steps Mandatory)
1. Determine which version of Fallout 3 binaries you have by running the game, selecting “Settings” in the main menu, then “Display.” Your version number will be in the lower left. Exit the game.
2. Use Vortex to install the Fallout Rebirth collection and allow it to complete.
3. Install Fallout 3 Script Extender (FOSE) using Vortex or manually.
4. For Fallout 3 version 1. 7. 0. 4, continue with step 5, otherwise skip to step 7.
5. Locate your game folder where the fallout3.exe binary is stored and run the file “Patcher.exe”. Close the window it opens after receiving a successful message.
6. Open Vortex and select the 3 dots next to the Fallout 3 game icon in your dashboard and choose “Make Primary.”
7. Ensure all the Fallout 3 DLC plugins are enabled in Vortex under the Plugins section.
8. Run the game in Vortex and start a new save. Fallout rebirth is not compatible with previous saves.

TROUBLESHOOTING
- Fallout 3 immediately crashes after starting. Do not run Fallout Script Extender icon if you have version 1. 7. 04 of the game. Start using FO3 icon instead.
- Receive Vortex message "Missing Masters" after Collection installs. Check the Plugins tab
