📋 About This Mod
Made by DaiShi Description: This mod places a Yuma Flats EC YK42B Pulse Rifle (a.k.a. the classic Fallout 2 Pulse Rifle) in Citadel Weapons Lab (where the Plasma Rifle is on the desk) and National Guard Depot Armory (look for it under the tables). The weapon stats are from Plasma Rifle so most stats are the same, ofc damage is raised approx. as much as PulseR was stronger than PlasmaR in F2. - Real time shooting speed lowered a tiny bit, AP need is the same thou. - u can repair it with plasma rifles (didnt wanna make it pulse grenade and yk42b cuz theres a lot of the grenades (so it would unbalance) and only 1 or 2 of the rifles (dont wanna mess w loot lists)) - Has original shoot sounds, and uses a modified liberty laser effect (EMP explosion doesnt do dmg, but if u shoot yourself in the leg it will hurt) - Damage is set to EMP so robotic opponents are really vurnable to it (Security bot went bye-bye from just 2 non-crit shots at lvl 19). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE2: Remade weapon mesh partially to fix the \"shadow jumping\"bug that the low polycount caused. Made optional .esps wout the explosion on impact (that should fix the VATS dmg bug, that ppl noticed with gauss rifle, and probably this weap has too) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: Ive made a version wout projectile beam just cus many ppl asked for it, but main version ll be with a beam, see below. Quote from comments (my comment btw) \"Basically Pulse rifle emits a concentrated Electro-magnetic burst, thats why Fo2 didnt have any projectile for it, cuz u cant see it. Personally i think if its so powerful that it does more damage than a bolt of plasma then its powerful enough to ionise the air molecules so they either emit light or discharges like a miniature lightningstorm (liberty laser effect was the closest to this :) )\" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation: Unzip it in Data folder it comes w 2 .esps: YK42B Pulse Rifle.esp - as above YK42B Pulse Rifle (Megaton).esp - only 1 weapon near PC\'s Megaton house YK42B Pulse Rifle (Megaton)(Energy).esp - only 1 weapon near PC\'s Megaton house (uses Energy Dmg instead of EMP so damage is like plasma just a little higher) NOTE: - USE ONLY 1 esp there are some overlaps in them which can cause problems - i\'ve included pipboy image w description copy it in Data folder (let it overwrite) if u need them. - i\'ve included shoot effects to remove the beam (a little muzzle effect and the impact EMP stayed thou) copy it in Data folder (let it overwrite) if u need them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Known Issues: - nothing i Know of -
