📋 About This Mod
- -------
- ==Data==
- -------
- Name: Animate Me!
- Author: Shubniggurath
- Release: First and last.
- --------------
- ==Description==
- --------------
- Animate Me! is a small weapon and 1st person reanimation resource.
- I worked some time on it, but i lost interest. So here i release the current state of the files on request. I will not finish them or work on them again. Fo3t keeps me buisy enough.
- The animations change some of your 1st and 3rd person weapon holding, aiming and firing animations. It too adds a subtle non-annoying head bobbing while walking and / or running.
- Animations changes:
- Normal Pistols: Holding 1st & 3rd perspective, aiming 1st & 3rd perspective, holster, 3rd person firing.
- Rifles: Holding 1st & 3rd perspective, aiming 1st & 3rd perspective, holster.
- Assault Rifles: Holding 1st & 3rd perspective, holster.
- Submachineguns: Firing 3rd perspective (Optional Raider package).
- 1st person head bobbing
- 1st person screen rotation when strafing.
- Keep the file structure of the folders and overwrtie your Fallout\\Data folder with the data folder from this package.
- Screenshots will come as soon as they do ;-p
- --------
- ==Flaws==
- --------
- The movement reanimation sometimes causes a 0. 10 second fullscreen flicker.
- Some of the animations don\'t fit with the weapon grips for modified weapons.
- Completely incompatible with other reanimations, but you can pick and exchange the files you want to use.
- Sometimes the screen angle stays in the degree of the screen rotation, that occurs when you move your character. In this case, simply walk a step fowrad or backward to reset the rotation (you will see what i mean).
- ---------------------
- ==Installation Guide==
- ---------------------
- Keep the file structure of the folders and overwrtie your Fallout\\Data folder with the data folder from this package.
- Screenshots will come as soon as i had some free time to make them.
- You will need the Archive Invalidation. Mke a search on the Nexus for it, you will find it.
- ----------------
- ==Compatibility==
- ----------------
- I don\'t know, but there\'s a good chance, that this package works too with New Vegas. Try it if you want.
- Fallout 3 Reanimated is incompatible. Ironsight mods are compatible if you delete the files who end with \"is.kf\"
- ----------------------
- ==Permissions & so on==
- ----------------------
- Don\'t reupload the original package anywhere but on Nexus pages.
- For everything else: do what you want with these files, but give me credit.
- No need to ask for my permission.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-tested with 135 endorsements and over 5,000 downloads
- Directly improves weapon handling feel without overhauling the whole game
- Lightweight and focused—does exactly what it says
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2011, so it may not be compatible with newer mods or game patches
- Only covers holding, firing, and holstering—no reload or sprint animations
- Potential conflicts with other animation mods that touch the same files
For Fallout: New Vegas players who want a subtle but noticeable improvement to weapon animations without a full overhaul. If you're a purist who likes vanilla gameplay but hates stiff gun handling, this is for you. Skip if you're looking for comprehensive animation packs or modern updates.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's an animation replacer, make sure to place it after other animation mods in your load order to avoid conflicts.
- If you're using a mod manager, install it manually to ensure the files overwrite correctly.
- Test with a few different weapons to see the new animations in action.
