📋 About This Mod

Replaces the Ambient Music in Fallout 3. Read Long Descriptions.

I was a little bugged by the in-game music. It didn\'t fit with the Wasteland Lore (IMHO), and music makes a large impact in the game. Based on BalianTKD86\'s Country Explore Music, which has some western-lore music perfect for the post-apocalyptic setting. I got some great western-lore music (most of it, some is non-western lore). Change Log: 1. I was bugged that the music changed when you got attacked, so I changed it so that instead of playing tense music, it plays the same music as if you were not in combat. 2. I changed the basic ambient music (which is what you basically hear when you just run around in the wasteland) 3. I changed the \"Death\" music, so instead of playing really \"In your face\" dramatic music, it now plays softer \"That\'s sad\" music. 4. I changed the Title Screen Music. 5. I was bugged that when you left the vault for the first time, the music doesn\'t really make it dramatic. So now it will play a more mysterious western-lore song (like when you visit Point Lookout for the first time). 6. The level-up song is so annoying, so I changed it to a more subtle, less annoying tune. 7. I changed the immensely annoying tranquility lane music to, you guessed it, country lore-ish music. Note that this is a music REPLACER, so I would suggest backing the files up in case you do not like this mod. Known Issues: 1. Some of the music doesn\'t work, such as the \"Level up\" song. 2. No music in-doors. I will release hot-fixes for these files as soon as I sort them out. Please report any other bugs/issues via comments. Installation: 1. Download the mod to a temporary location (like Downloads, Desktop etc.) 2. Unzip the Ambient Music Replacer folder 3. Copy the Music folder inside to your Fallout 3 Data Directory (e.g C:/Program Files/Fallout 3/Data) 4. Play the game, and you should hear the changes Enjoy the mod! Constructive criticism, suggestions and other comments appreciated, altough rude comments will be deleted.
