Fallout 3 Soundtrack Overhaul

Since the release of Fallout 3, a handful of artists have unwittingly written the music that should have comprised the score for this amazing game (in my opinion). This mod is an effort to bring this amazing music to the place it was seemingly meant to be heard: the Capital Wasteland.

This "mod" is simply a swap of (almost) all in-game music with tracks I've found particularly suitable to the exploration of a post-apocalyptic Washington, D. C. I think you'll find that these changes make the game (particularly dungeon crawling) much darker, bleaker, grimier, tense, and all around more frightening. To me, this is what the game should feel like.

I would like to thank Steve Moore and Zombi for giving me permission to share their amazing music in this context. It shows a real commitment from the artist to helping us elevate the experience of these games and also allows others to experience their music where they may not have had the opportunity to before. If you like what you hear in this "mod" I would highly recommend looking into their other music. This is some of the coolest music being made today and you would be doing yourself a disservice not to check them out.
