ADF-X Tactical Flamer Gen2 Fallout: New Vegas Version: Tactical Flamer NV Description: ------------------------------------------------- I always liked the flamer as a weapon but being such a large and heavy weapon it was annoyingly slow to un-holster and frustrating to run around ghoul infested subways with. I looked for any mods which made the flamer held like a rifle and without that ridiculous backpack and found none. With initial inspiration from the flamer used in the Aliens movie and other games in general I ended up learning how to do a basic mesh mash-up and making the entire texture from scratch. The flamer is lighter than the original but generally has the same specs as the burnmaster. The main mod file includes just the original tan texture (see screenshots). The optional texture file includes ALL the textures, both tan and both black which you can use by replacing the weapon textures in the original location. NOTE: Due to my limited knowledge of modeling at this time the reload animation does NOT move/animate the fuel canister on the bottom of the gun. The weapons are in a chest just outside the front of a building SE of the Nuka-Cola Factory. I placed it there because that building is where my player home mod called \'The Retreat\'(http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10882) is located and the textures I designed to go well with the armor and guns in that mod. ------------------------------------------------- UPDATE ------------------------------------------------- The optional main download entitled \"Tactical Flamer - 4PAK\" has all nessesary meshes and texture included and a modified esp which changes the contents of the container (in the same location) to hold one Tactical Flamer of each of the four texture types plus increased flamer fuel. The \"Tactical Flamer - 4PAK\" esp should NOT be used at the same time as the original.
