The Little Cabin

Settle down after a long cold day in The Little Cabin. Put up the decorations, organise the gifts, and light a fire as the sun sets. This is my Build-A-Room submission. As the theme is "cosy", I made a to-do list of tasks that are crossed off as you progress, and simple puzzles that are satisfying to complete. For the full cosy winter vibe, there's snow outside, and the sky transitions gradually from a sunset to night (takes four minutes). The room was designed for one player, but multiplayer shouldn't have issues. --- I really enjoyed working on this room. I find "escape room" type games calming to play, and making something easier than my last rooms was nice, too. I focused on pleasant sounds for the environment, and checking off a to-do list rather than mainly figuring out puzzles. I made sure to add colourblind friendly labels and logic as one puzzle uses colours. Build time was less than my last rooms due to it's smaller size, although development was rough as I encountered some editor bugs and annoyances with the image editor I use (GIMP). Once again, I cut it close to the deadline, so I had little time to test/debug, so there may be some missing sounds and polish. Let me know if issues are found! I'd also like the room to be easy, so I'll adjust puzzles to be easier as I get feedback (after the Build-A-Room ends).
