Adds an in-game talent preset panel to Enshrouded.

Save, rename, apply, and clear talent builds directly from the Skills/Talents screen.

This package includes:

📦 Client Installation

1. Close Enshrouded.

2. Open your Enshrouded game folder.

Default Steam path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Enshrouded

3. From the download, copy this folder:

client\mods\talents_presets

4. Paste it into:

Enshrouded\mods\

The final path should look like this:

Enshrouded\mods\talents_presets\talents_presets.dll

5. Start the game.

📁 Optional Example Presets

The download includes an example preset file:

optional\talent_presets_example_xoker.txt

To use it, copy it to:

Enshrouded\mods\talents_presets\talent_presets.txt

If you do not add a talent_presets.txt file, the mod will create one automatically when you save presets in-game.

🖥️ Optional Server Installation

The server DLL is optional.

Install it only if you want talent unlearning to be free on the server.

1. Stop the server.

2. Back up any existing dbghelp.dll in the server root folder.

3. From the download, copy:

server\server_root\dbghelp.dll

4. Paste it into the server root folder, next to:

enshrouded_server.exe

On hosted servers or FTP, this is usually the same folder as:

enshrouded_server.json

enshrouded_server.kfc

5. Start the server.

⚠️ Important Server Note

The server DLL makes talent unlearning free globally on the server.

This may also affect normal altar behavior, not only the F4/F12 client panel.

🎮 How to Use

Open the Skills/Talents tree in-game.

F4  = Show or hide the preset panel

F12 = Unlearn the talent node you are hovering over

Panel actions:

Save current  = Save your currently assigned talents into the selected preset

Apply        = Clear your current talents and apply the selected preset

Clear talents = Clear the whole talent tree

You can also:

✅ Drag the panel header to move it

✅ Click a preset name to rename it

✅ Keep the Skills/Talents tree open while applying or clearing presets

🌍 Language Support

The client mod detects language automatically.

Detection order:

1. Manual override file

2. Steam language setting

3. Windows user language

4. English fallback

Supported language values:

To force a language, edit this file:

Enshrouded\mods\talents_presets\talent_presets_lang.txt

To return to auto-detection, delete the file or leave only commented lines starting with #.
