MAP MAN

This save was created on 12/9/25.

If you are like me, then I am sure you have searched for a mod or something that would allow you to remove the overworld map fog so you

could see the actual game map. When I couldn’t find anything, I decided to find some way to clear the map myself, and I have done just that. I figured

someone else would appreciate having access to it as well.

Here you can download the character save file. The save file is for a brand-new character named MAP MAN. Not a single quest has

been completed, page read, nor survivor saved. I found the materials to build the glider and got to gliding around and clearing the entire game map. Now the map is clear, and this is the perfect setup for a new game. I tried to fly as high as possible to avoid accidentally discovering any areas, but I think there are 2 that I accidentally triggered.   Additionally, the starting 2 skill points that you get for exiting the tutorial cave have not been spent either.

A side note,  you can create your own new world and bring MAP MAN in, and the map is fully unlocked.

I’m adding a few pictures so you can get an idea, but once you load up the save, you can see for yourself.

How to Use:

Step 1: You will need to find your own Save game location, but this may help you find it:

This PC > Windows (C:) > Users > YOURNAME >Saved Games > Enshrouded

Step 2: You will need to download the file titled “characters”, then place it in the Enshrouded folder you located in step 1.

your "characters" file as a backup, if you still want them. Otherwise, you should be good to go.

Troubleshooting:

If, for some reason, you are having issues, then go to your Steam library and

right-click on Enshrouded, click PROPERTIES, then click GENERAL, and make sure

STEAM CLOUD is not selected. If it is selected, then you won’t see or have

access to your locally saved characters i.e. this new one named MAP MAN.
