Enshrouded Modifications for Better Embervale Rebalancing

Ember is an ongoing project to give players as much control over their experience in Enshrouded as is possible with the current modding system. It started out focused on novel features like the expansion of the Magic Storage system, the ability to place and break otherwise unobtainable blocks, and a custom blueprint system but very quickly expanded. The goal of Ember is not necessarily to break or trivialize the game, it is to provide players with the tools and the freedom to use those tools how they see fit while ensuring minimal risk.

Compatibility:

Client - ✔

When Ember is installed on the Client and not the server expect to see mixed results.

Some of these features work client side, many of them do not.

I have not personally tested them all for this as that isn’t how Ember is intended to be used.

Server - ✔

Enshrouded is primarily Server authoritative.

This means when Ember is installed on a server it will affect all clients universally and equally whether they have EML/Ember installed or not.

If both Client and Server have EML/Ember installed the values present on the Server will override those of the Client.

Config Tool

I know this has some design elements that you commonly see in “vibe coded” apps but I do just genuinely like the Fluent-inspired “dev tool” design style and high saturation color. ¯\(ツ)/¯

The Ember Config Tool is a new GUI based app designed to make configuring Ember simple, straight-forward, and easy. It can be launched from the Ember folder and it will auto detect your current settings. Saving will produce a User Config Override file. Presets can also be saved and loaded to make switching between configuration sets easier.

The Config Tool can be downloaded in the files section as a separate file.

Place in and run from the following location:

Enshrouded\mods\Ember
