][]WakeOfWaterAllSpiresLevel9Flame14NPCs.zip - All 8 spires (as of Wake of Water) + a Level 9 flame
Every spire in the game at this time has been explored, allowing fast travel to them, and the flame is level 9.
In order to get the flame level to 9, fourteen NPCs had to be found.
- Map markers for their locations are present.
- They were left standing around the starting flame altar, but can easily be moved with a Summoning Staff.
There are no other changes from a new world.
- No quests (including NPC quests) were completed.
- The spires' flames were not engaged to prevent adding their map markers for the region.
- The only map markers for a new character are the markers for the spires and the locations of the NPCs.
Both worlds are set to default difficulty. It's easy to change the name and edit the difficulty in-game.[/]
Pre-Install:
Before doing anything with these world saves, if you are using Steam Cloud to save the games (it is the default setting), then you will need to turn off Steam Cloud. When you do this, your existing characters and worlds are NOT copied locally.
-
[]Copy all of the files from the Steam cloud directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<YOUR_STEAM_ID>\1203620\remote\" to a backup location of your choice.[/]
[]Turn off Steam Cloud Saves. I've added a photo of what it looks like if that helps.
In Steam, right-click Enshrouded, select "Properties", and then turn off the toggle switch under STEAM CLOUD.[/]
[]Copy (not move) the files from your backup to the Enshrouded local game save directory "C:\Users\<YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME>\Saved Games\Enshrouded\".[/]
[]Don't delete the backup files![/]
[]Then, make sure your saves work. (Start the game, check your characters, and maybe enter a world.)[/]
[]Now that you have a working local copy, and a backup, you can add one of these worlds and play in it with your existing characters.[/]
How to Install:
-
[]Create a new world and load into it[/]
[]Exit the game[/]
[]Copy all of the files in the save game directory "C:\Users\<YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME>\Saved Games\Enshrouded\" to a backup location of your choice.[/]
[]Find the save files for the world you just created. You can likely do this by sorting the file list by "Date modified", because they should be the newest files.[/]
[]Determine which world save to use based on the prefix of those newly created files.[/]
[]Copy the downloaded files that are in the directory withy a name that contains the world slot prefix (just the files, not the directory) to the save game folder.[/]
[]Start the game.[/]

Troubleshooting:
[]Are you playing with Steam Cloud saves turned off?
Steam Cloud likely needs to be off.[/]
[]Are you playing a private game, not hosting one?
This shouldn't matter, but it might.[/]
[]Did you copy just the files inside the directory, not the directory itself?
You should not copy the directory; only the files go into the save game directory.[/]
[]Did you copy them to the correct path?
"C:\Users\<YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME>\Saved Games\Enshrouded\" (assuming you use Windows and didn't change it).[/]
[]Are there existing files for that world slot?
[]If you created a new world, the game created some of those, and that's okay becau
