I've been wanting to mod Godfrey for quite a while now, so here I am. This is going to be a pretty long journey so buckle up.

Godfrey is my favourite boss in the entire game and I really want to give him the love he deserves, especially considering there are barely any Godfrey overhauls or they are mostly hidden behind very large mods that overhaul the entire game. My main goal for this mod is to make Godfrey significantly more challenging to fight, reflecting his status as the Lord of the Battlefield, as well as making him a more engaging bossfight as I love this boss so much.

I balanced the mod with a medium roll setup and all attacks including his ultimates can be avoided without getting hit.

I also advise having an advanced understanding of the Godfrey fight in vanilla before tackling this mod, as some of the new additions require you to apply those strategies to your advantage.

Changes to the bossfight:

1. Godfrey has increased base stats, which includes health, resistances and poise. Hoarah also will have increased stats but some of his resistances will remain the same, though Hoarah now has double sleep resistance. Created a custom scaling for Godfrey with a small extra stat boost and a moderate HP boost from Malenia’s Scaling.

2. Godfrey is now more aggressive than before. Trying to go behind him during his first combo moves will result in him instantly switching to a different combo as his combo is interrupted. This is also apparent with Hoarah Loux.

3. Regal Roar and Hoarah Loux’s Earthshaker are overhauled into a 2nd Phase and 4th Phase respectively, adding new combo patterns, behaviour and more. The golden hue in Godfrey’s eyes will return once he enters those phases.

4. Godfrey's axe slam attacks post-Regal Roar now have various shockwaves depending on which type of slam he does. This applies to Hoarah Loux’s slams after he does his Earthshaker.

5. Restored all 2 unused attacks from Godfrey. He will mostly use them after Regal Roar.

6. Godfrey's and Hoarah Loux's Roars now can deal poise damage, dealing the same poise damage as Maliketh's Roar.

7. Regal Roar and Hoarah Loux's Earthshaker has a slower start up but both attacks produce a roar shockwave that pushes the player back. Godfrey also has a 100% chance to do Regal Roar no matter where the player is when he hits the HP threshold, with the same applied to Hoarah Loux and his Earthshaker.
