Blades of Yotei - Moveset Mod

Seemlessly switch stances between dual wielding and two handing katanas accompanied by a longbow to adapt to any scenario. Be sure to watch the tutorial, cause there's a lot.

MAKE SURE to equip the bow and katana in the right hand and the dual katanas (Dancing Blade of Renna) in the left hand if you want to use them together.

Sheathed and Two Handed Stance

From Sheathed stance, Light Attacks perform Iai attacks to unleash devastating slashes and two hand your katana.

From Sheathed Stance, Left Hand Attacks (L1) do Dual Weild Double Slash and go into Dual Wielding.

Two Handing Katana stance allows for strong and precise slashes and can stagger bigger enemies.

Each attack can also be used as a parry. Press dodge while holding block to unleash an even more lenient parry.

Integrated Bow attacks in the heavies of this stance.

Press Light or Heavy immediately after press block to do a immediate running attack.

Dual Wielding Stance

Dual Wield katanas to attack and defend at the same time. The first slash of every light attack has blocking frames.

Ideal for stringing combos and attacking multiple enemies at once.

Integrated Martial Arts Kicks in the heavies. They do less damage but stagger bigger enemies.

Can do timed deflects.

Press dodge while holding block to perform a quick double slash that blocks and attacks simultaneously. An ideal starter.

Multiple combo and cancel possibilities by stringing different attacks together.

Press Light or Heavy immediately after press block to do a immediate running attack.

Stance Reset Ash of War

First input resheathes all weapons while dodging and returns you to base stance

Light follow up to do a whirlwind dual wielding attack and go into dual wield stance

Heavy followup to lunge in with a single sword and go into two handed stance

Great for seemlessly switching stances

New Consumables

Quickly throw a smoke cloud to blind nearby foes and make them lose sight of you. Goes farther than you think.

Throw a fire bomb to create a massive explosion. The smoke after the explosion will also make opponents lose sight of you.

Magic Pots can now make enemies fight on your side (Just like Axii from my Witcher mod. I love the mechanic too much)

How to Install

Download Files and then Extract them wherever you want.

Dump the extracted files into the "mod" folder in your ModEngine.
