This is a very weird guide and I think probably 85% of readers will either hate the ideas in it, or think they are incredibly hacky and delusional. That's fine, this guide isn't really for those people. It's not for anyone who wants to wait another year for the tooling to be able to handle navmesh edits either and it's not for anyone who needs incredibly fine-tuned control over the details of the maps they make. If you fit into any of the above camps, just stop reading now,
this will only annoy and disappoint you.
This guide is for someone who wants to make fairly simple, ugly, uninspired, and non-unique new areas with 60-90% navmesh coverage in Elden Ring today.
