Equipping the altered commoner's headband will make Melina's cape/cloak appear on your character. It's shaped to fit over the traveler's clothes, but will probably work decently with any form-fitting clothes.
You can change it to replace any other piece of armor by renaming it to anything from this list.
There's also a version that replaces the second eyepatch in the character creator menu, so you can always have it visible regardless of armor. This version has more flowy cloth physics for reasons that I could not hope to divine, so I guess I should be grateful that it actually looks good as well.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
Extract the .rar file you downloaded. It contains a "parts" folder, and inside it are the .dcx files of the mod.
Drop the "parts" folder inside Mod Engine 2's "mod" folder. If there's already a "parts" folder from another mod in there, you can also drop the .dcx files directly into it.
This mod replaces the altered commoner's headband (or second eyepatch) with Melina's cloak, complete with physics. It's a simple cosmetic swap for Elden Ring players who want to wear Melina's iconic cape. With 83 endorsements and recent updates, it's a niche but functional choice.
