📋 About This Mod

Adjusts faster enemy animations with the aim of making them feel DS1 fast rather than DS3 fast.

Adds AnimSpeedGradient TAE events to a number of (mainly late-game) enemies' animations to slow them down at key moments, with the idea of increasing their sense of weight and bringing them closer to the fast enemy speed of DaS1.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PLAY THE MOD OFFLINE AND BACK UP YOUR VANILLA SAVE FILE BEFORE USING ANY MODS!

    Installation:

    Quick:

    1) Grab ModEngine2 and install it as per the instructions on its page.

    2) Extract the "chr" folder from Staminizer Animations and drop it into your ModEngine2 "mod" folder.

    3) Run "launchmod_eldenring.bat".

    Adding Staminizer Animations as a Separate Mod in ModEngine2's Load Order:

    1) Grab ModEngine2 and install it as per the instructions on its page.

    2) Extract the "mod_staminizeder" folder from Staminizer Animations and drop it into your ModEngine2 root folder, where "launchmod_eldenring.bat" is located.

    3) Open "config_eldenring.toml" in a text editor of your choice, e.g. Notepad++

    4) By default, you should have a section that looks like this partway down the config file:

    { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" }

    Adjust it so that it looks like this, making sure to retain spaces and indentation, then save the file:

    { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" },

    { enabled = true, name = "staminizer", path = "mod_staminizeder" }

    5) Save the config file, run "launchmod_eldenring.bat" and test!

    This setup puts Staminizer Animations at the very bottom of the mod load order, meaning it will be loaded last and thus take priority over anything that comes before it. If you'd like to add another mod into the mix, I recommend putting it above Staminizer Animations in the load order, like this:

    { enabled = true, name = "mods", path = "mod" },

    { enabled = true, name = "MOD2", path = "MOD2PATH" },

    { enabled = true, name = "staminizer", path = "mod_staminizeder" }
