📋 About This Mod
As said above, merchants sell their bell bearings so you can take those to the Twin Maiden Husks, at the Roundtable Hold. It only applies to Kalé and nomadic, hermit, isolated and imprisioned merchants, not the named NPCs.
Installation
Download and extract the contents of this mod to any place of your choice. Then:
- With no other mods: copy/cut the regulation.bin file into the "mods" folder of ModEngine2.
- If you are playing with other mods: merge the .csv file into your regulation.bin using Smithbox. Import all fields to the ShopLineupParam param. To learn how to do this, I followed the last portion of this guide.
Compatibility
As usual, only compatible with other ModEngine mods if merged using a tool like Smithbox or the old DSMapStudio (before SotE), since there can only be one regulation.bin file.
Notes
- If you buy and deliver the bell bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks and then proceed to kill the merchant anyway, you'll still get a duplicate of that bell bearing, but the Twin Maiden Husks will not take it again;
- I own SotE, but haven't played it yet, so I don't know if there are any merchants in a similiar situation. Looking at the params with Smithbox and peaking at the Fextralife wiki, it seems there are new bell bearings, but not from new merchants;

This Elden Ring mod makes Kale and his merchant associates sell their own bell bearings for a symbolic price, allowing players to conveniently purchase them without hunting down each merchant. It's a small quality-of-life tweak for players who want easier access to shop inventories.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny mod that saves you the hassle of tracking down every merchant for their bearing.
- 28 endorsements from a niche audience who appreciate the convenience.
- Simple concept: buy the bearing, get the shop inventory at Roundtable Hold.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 28 endorsements—this is a very niche QoL tweak, not a must-have.
- Last updated in July 2024—might not be compatible with future game patches.
For Elden Ring players who hate backtracking to buy from every merchant and want to consolidate shops at Roundtable Hold. Skip if you prefer the traditional merchant hunt or want more substantial gameplay changes.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the latest version of Elden Ring and any mod loader like Mod Engine 2 installed.
- Place the mod files in the 'mod' folder of your game directory, not the base game folder.
- If you're using other mods, check for conflicts—this mod edits merchant inventories, so it may clash with other shop tweaks.
