📋 About This Mod
For those who wish Elden Ring had been made as a true culmination of the previous Souls games.
This mod aims to bring Elden Ring closer to its predecessors by changing its mechanics, introducing back items from the previous titles, as well as restoring items from Elden Ring's cut content. If you don't want to spoil yourself, keep reading this page. If you want to know everything this mod has to offer, head to the ARTICLES section and click on "Content Spoilers". With that out of the way, here's in a nutshell what you can expect from this mod.
8 NEW TALISMANS
7 NEW CONSUMABLES
1 NEW TOOL
All these new items are either taken straight from the cut content or created from scratch based only on the icons. Some of these items created from scratch include items from the previous games brought back with new icons from the cut content, a description made to be as close to the original lore as possible, and for the most part, using the exact values they used to have in the previous games.
1 NEW CLASS
The Explorer from Dark Souls 2 has made its return, replacing the Prisoner class and starting without almost the exact same items and stats.
REWORKED STATS, STATUS EFFECTS, AND ITEMS
All these changes were made using the exact values from the previous games, minus some minor tweaking in order to make the gameplay more balanced and rewarding for the player. Some status effects in particular have been heavily nerfed, while others have been changed in order to make it more dangerous for the player if affected by them. As for the items exclusive to Elden Ring like the Crystal Tears, they have been reworked to make them more balanced and useful for all builds. Some talismans have also been reworked in order to match the effect they had in previous games, and some overwhelmingly useless spells have been heavily buffed to make them more useful.
BETTER ENEMY BEHAVIOR
Exploring Elden Ring's open world is now way more dangerous than before. Enemies have had their vision increased and their behavior improved to make them more realistic. If one enemy in a condensed pack of mobs targets you, all the rest or some of them will follow depending on the situation. Basically, you will be ambushed by gank squads just like in Dark Souls 2. This was done in order to make the open world more realistic and to force the player to better use stealth, as well as spending more time to think about which mob to take first in order to not alert the others. On top of it, enemies wielding shields are now able to counter your attacks.
BETTER BOSSES
Some of the weakest main bosses have had their resistances and health buffed, while the resistances of some of the more obnoxious ones have been heavily
