Installation

Go to this mod's Files and choose the one you want to use;

Simply drop the .zip contents into ELDEN RING\Game\ModEngine-2. 0. 0-preview3-win64\

In-game, craft and use the Toggle Helmet Visibility mod items.

Install DSMapStudio

Install Toggle Helmet Visibility

Open DSMapStudio, go to and create a . This will create a Project folder where we're gonna do all the modifications on the regulation.bin file that came with the Toggle Helmet Visibility mod. Close DSMapStudio. To make things easier, create a shortcut of the DSMapStudio .exe file and paste it in the Project folder.

The Toggle Helmet Visibility mods comes with a \togglehelm\ folder, which contains a \msg and a \parts folders, as well as a regulation.bin file. Copy the regulation.bin file and paste into the Project Folder, replacing the existing one.

Creating the Cosmetic Helm

Open the project by dragging the project.json file into the shortcut you created for DSMapStudio.exe.

Inside DSMapStudio you'll select the Param Editor tab. This will display 3 columns on the interface. On the First Column you'll select [SpEffectVfxParam]. On the second column, select . On the third column, look for . You'll have to change that number to the row number of the helm you want for your Cosmetic Set (You can find the row numbers and row IDs on this table).

Creating the Cosmetic Armor

Now that the Cosmetic Helm is set up, let's set the Cosmetic Amor. I'll show first how to set a complete set first (e.g. the Scaled Set), then I'll show how to modify each part separately (body, arms and legs). Go to the second column on the Param Editor and this time select 869501 Override Armor and look for . You'll have to change that number to the row number of the helm of the set you want for your Cosmetic Set (You can find the row numbers and row IDs on this table).
