Bayle's Justice

Bayle's Justice Mod is a mod for Elden Ring that essentially allows Bayle and Placidusax to invade each other’s boss fights. However, you must choose a side — as this is the final showdown of the dragon archenemies.

Prerequisites

• []Be familiar with and ready to use ModEngine2 tool.

  []Have the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

• []Download the latest release of the mod.

  []Extract the mod folder from the downloaded file.

  []Place the folders (chr, event, map, and msg) in the extracted folder into your mod folder in ModEngine2, which by default is located at ModEngine2\mod.

• []During Bayle's boss fight, if Placidusax arrives the arena while Bayle is positioned in the southern corner (right side of the entrance), Placidusax may bug out and remain outside the arena.

  []The same issue can sometimes occur during Placidusax’s second-phase teleport animations in the same fight, though it does not always happen.

• []Tested on v1. 16.

  []As long as you use ModEngine2, which launches the game only offline, the mod will not cause you to get banned.

  []For an invasion to occur, the invading boss must be alive.

  []If the invading boss is defeated during the fight, he is permanently defeated, and his own boss fight becomes inaccessible until the next NG cycle.

  []If the invading boss survives while the host boss is defeated, the invading boss leaves the arena, ending the fight.

  []During Placidusax's boss fight, everyone fights for themselves — a true free-for-all (1v1v1).

  []During Bayle's boss fight, the same applies unless you possess the Dragon Eyes, in which case Placidusax becomes your ally.

  []During Bayle's boss fight, if you do not possess the Dragon Eyes, Placidusax will attempt to flee once his HP drops below 10% — but he can still be killed before he escapes.

  []During Placidusax's boss fight, if Bayle survives, he will ascend as the new Dragonlord. Later, when you enter his boss fight, his name will appear as "Dragonlord Bayle".

[]If the invading boss survives the fight, he will "celebrate" in the arena before leaving. During this celebration, he cannot harm you, as you are now temporarily considered allies.
