Optional: With other mods
Installing with Seamless Co-op
Follow Using Seamless Coop with other mods. As of version 1. 1. 0, dyes are visible to other players as long as they also have the mod installed. This mod doesn't impact matchmaking, so you can still co-op with or invade people who don't have it installed.
Installing with The Convergence
Update: This mod is shipped by default with The Convergence version 2. 1. 2, so you don't need to do anything to install it. Armor dyes are accessible at sites of grace by default.
Installing with Reforged
Update: The underlying dye system is integrated into ELDEN RING: Reforged version 1. 2. 3, so you don't need to install this. Palettes can be unlocked by completing archery challenges.
Installing with anything else
This mod should simply work with any other mods installed without any manual merging required. Feel free to comment if you discover a compatibility issue with another mod.
Installing on Steam Deck
This also works on Steam Deck, but instead of running launchmod_eldenring.bat you need to launch through Steam. See How to install Elden Ring mods on Steam Deck.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 356 endorsements and over 13k downloads.
- Works with major mods like Seamless Co-op and The Convergence, so you can dye gear without breaking your setup.
- Simple concept that fills a niche—customizing armor colors is surprisingly rare in Elden Ring mods.
⚠️ Cons
- No detailed instructions or feature breakdown—you're left to figure out the dye system on your own.
- Last updated May 2025—might not be compatible with future game patches or newer mod versions.
- Only two features listed, so don't expect advanced options like pattern editing or glow effects.
For Elden Ring players who want to personalize their armor and weapons without overhauling the game. If you're already using Seamless Co-op or The Convergence, this is a no-brainer. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's compatible with Seamless Co-op, make sure you install it in the same mod folder as your co-op setup to avoid conflicts.
- If you're using The Convergence or Reforged, test the dye on a spare piece of gear first to see how it interacts with their custom items.
- Check the mod's posts or comments for user-made guides—the description is sparse, so the community likely has tips.
