SPECTRAL ONESHOT BAT

Turns the Spectral Baseball Bat into an overpowered

singleplayer weapon with:

- 999 raw blunt damage

- 999 base condition / durability

- 999 allowed repairs

- One-hit kills against regular infected

The original weapon model, animations, sounds, icon,

name and visual effects remain unchanged.

INSTALLATION

------------------------------------------------------------

1. Download the mod archive.

2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file.

3. Open the extracted folder and locate:

4. Copy data2.pak to your >Dying Light: The Beast< source folder.

The default Steam installation path is usually:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light The Beast\ph_ft\source\

If you installed the game in a custom Steam Library,

your path may be different.

5. The final file path should look like this:

Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light The Beast\ph_ft\source\data2.pak

6. Launch the game.

7. A modified-data warning should appear when the mod

is detected.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A data2.pak

------------------------------------------------------------

Do not overwrite an existing data2.pak blindly.

You may rename this mod to an unused slot:

- data3.pak

- data4.pak

- data5.pak

- data6.pak

- data7.pak

However, renaming the PAK file does not prevent

internal file conflicts.

This mod changes:

- scripts\damagedefinitions.scr

- scripts\inventory\inventory_gen.scr

If another installed mod changes either of these files,

the mods must be merged.
