This mod restores the iconic "placeholder" appearance of Lawan from the May 2021 trailer and promo materials—before the reveal of Rosario Dawson as the final Lawan.
This recreation achieves over 90% accuracy compared to her look in the 2021 promo materials. While minor details like the torn shirt from the original design are not included, the overall essence of this early version has been faithfully captured.
Whether you're a fan of the early DL2 builds or simply nostalgic for this version of Lawan, this mod lets you experience her pre-release appearance. 🌷
Installation Instructions:
• Drop the dataX.pak file into the `Dying Light 2\ph\source` folder.
• Inject the textures into the `common_textures_0_pc.rpack` file located in `Dying Light 2\ph\work\data_platform\pc\assets` using this Can's texture injection guide.
• To return to Rosario Dawson's Lawan, reinject the original textures and delete the `dataX.pak` file.
Variants Included:
• `data4.pak`: dark blonde hair variant
• `data5.pak`: brown hair variant
Additionally, I’ve created alternate textures for both the standard torso and the Black Copper torso, as well as for Lawan's hands. Inject these textures using the guide above.
