Skip prompt removal. Removes annoying skip hints from dialogues and cutscenes!

WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO?

✔ Hides the skip hint during dialogues.

✔ Hides the skip hint during in-engine cutscenes (e.g., talking to Lawan).

Skip hints begone!

DOES IT REMOVE THE ABILITY TO SKIP?

✅ No! Skip functionality is fully preserved — hints are just invisible.

💡 If you can’t skip a cutscene, that means it's intended to be unskippable.

HOW TO INSTALL?

1️⃣  Download the mod archive and extract it.

2️⃣  Move data7.pak to your game folder:

📂 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\source

3️⃣  Done!

HOW IS THIS MOD MADE?

I modified skip_dialog_symbol_pc.gui.

✔ Moved all skip hint elements off-screen by setting X/Y coordinates to 9999.

HOW TO MERGE WITH OTHER MODS?

Merging in Dying Light 2 Stay Human is simple: higher-numbered dataX.pak files take priority.

✔ This mod is in data7.pak, so it should work with most mods.

✔ If all dataX.pak slots are used, merge the .pak files manually using 7-Zip:

1️⃣  Open one of your existing dataX.pak files.

2️⃣  Add the contents of data7.pak to it.

COMPATIBILITY

✔ Works on all game versions, I guess.

✔ Compatible with mods that don’t modify skip_dialog_symbol_pc.gui.

💡 Maybe Techland will let us disable skip prompts in settings someday, and this mod will be unnecessary. But until then — enjoy a cleaner UI!
