Inspired by the film The Night Eats The World which features silent zombies (amazing film by the way!), Silent Bites makes Dying Light's Biters practically inaudible.
This makes your bog-standard Biter considerably more threatening. You'll triple-check the coast is clear before lockpicking containers, and you'll always question whether something is lurking behind you.
Biters still moan VERY quietly, but don't react whatsoever when receiving damage, really emphasising that the virus has utter control over them.
The game is significantly creepier now, and is a fresh alternative to the Biters you all know and love. You'll have to pay close attention to the sounds of their footsteps.
Silent Bites doesn't just lower individual zombie moans, but also greatly lowers the moans of hordes, distant zombie yells, etc, making Harran feel like a truly dead world.
ONLY Biters have been silenced. Virals, Volatiles, and so on still produce noise as normal.
