Castile: The Fall of Talos (Original Difficulty)

This is a sequel set in the same mod story universe as the previous work, Kalovens: Black Holes, Gods, and Observers. After the events of Kalovens, the Observer departed from the Klotua star system. Following several months of voyage, the Observer arrived in a world known as Castile. Yet this world is under threat from unknown biological forces. Strange bacteriophage colonies on the surface are mutating into a deadly zombie virus, and the history of the Talos Republic has been severed by the corpse tide. The fractured remnants of the fallen republic have formed various factions, while in this world there also exists a counterpart of Captain Ayane. With her own strength alone, she is about to shift the fate of the entire world… Adds two protagonists: Aoba Aokaito and Aoba Gene. As the younger sister, Aoba Gene cannot start as an independent character, but she can start together with her older brother, Aoba Aokaito, creating a unique two-person gameplay experience. Advance message for clarification: This mod exploits a bug to make Aoba Gene appear in the opening character selection interface, but Gene cannot be selected alone as the protagonist to enter the game. If the interface does not respond after you click on Gene, this is not another bug. It means you need to select one more “guardian” to start the game with her. The guardian is not limited to Aoba Aokaito. If you do not want to bring a minor along as a burden, you can still start normally with Aokaito, and Gene will later reappear in the tavern in a “lost” state. Adds a large number of item modifications, with descriptions closely tied to the fallen Talos Republic. Revises the names and descriptions of all factions to match the background of the world lore. The Aoba siblings are secretly protected by Lulis and Ibuki Suzu. This mod can be enabled together with the Kalovens series mods and is compatible with them. This mod is balanced around the original enemy difficulty. It is recommended to enable it together
