Character appearances
Equipment is only part of the look.
Open the full character editor for your Arisen or Main Pawn directly from Transmogify. Access additional NPC heads, hairstyles, cosmetic options, and colors, or use Copy NPC Appearance to start from any NPC's original look and make it your own.
Save named appearance presets, switch between them, and share them with other players. These are separate from your equipment presets, so you can manage your character's appearance and outfit independently. You can give them to NPCs too.
Give NPCs a wardrobe and a makeover
Open the NPCs tab, search for an NPC, and pick an Equipment preset and an Appearance preset for them. Use Show to list only the NPCs you've changed.
Equipment presets customize their clothing, weapons, shields, sizing, and glow using the same preset editor. Appearance presets give them one of your saved looks: face, body, hair, skin, freckles, brows, tattoos, and other styles. The look shows wherever they appear, including cutscenes, after save loads, and after restarting the game. If the NPC is nearby, they briefly fade out and come back with the new look once the game allows it, for example after a conversation. Updating an appearance preset in the Character tab also updates every NPC using it.
Assignments are saved and apply when the NPC is available. Choose NONE to remove an assignment and restore their original appearance.
Give looks to as many NPCs as you like. Up to 20 of the NPCs loaded around you at once get every detail. For example, if 30 people in Vernworth have looks and you stroll through town, 20 of them get every detail and the other 10 still show their new look (face, hair, skin tone and all), just without tattoos or scars until they next respawn. The limit only counts NPCs loaded around you, so each area gets its own 20 as you travel.
NPC looks are never written into your save files. They're applied each time the game starts, so removing Transmogify returns every NPC to their original look. Enable Transmogs only controls equipment; NPC looks stay while it's off.
