📋 About This Mod
Gives Strider gains for 11-100 and Sorc Gains for 101-200.
Extract into your Dragons Dogma main dir with path names and it will go where it needs to go, or copy it over manually. Make sure you backup MAIN DIR\nativePC\rom\game_main.arc Simply copy your original file back over to restore.(will not undo stat gains already made though leveling on a char)
The Strider/Sorc represents a far better stat gain for a balanced Magic Archer then the Magic Archers own gain table. As its annoying having to go change Vocation at every level up I made this mod, its not a cheat as in your char does not become anything it can't already become... it just removes the annoying side of going to town for vocation change just before every level up.
For those wondering why you would want Strider then sorc gains read below.
Strider/Sorc stat gains compared to Magic Archer by 200. HP = +360 Stamina = +450 Attack = Even Magic Attack = +200 Defense = Even Magic Defense = -270
The Extra health more then makes up for the reduced magic Defense(which is the most uncommon attack in the game) while also providing you with extra endurance from physical attacks(the most common attack type), the extra stamina allows you to use more abilities without needing to consume potions and you have 570 magic attack instead of 370.
A pure sorc build only gives you 180 more magic attack for greatly reduced Health and Stamina over this build(almost half). The end result is without VIN potions the pure Sorc build actually does less damage due to lack of Stamina.
This mod alters Magick Archer stat growth in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, applying Strider gains for levels 10-100 and Sorcerer gains for 101-200. It lets players max a balanced Magic Archer without switching vocations at each level-up. A niche quality-of-life tweak for dedicated min-maxers, with 84 endorsements.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solves the tedious level-up min-maxing for Magick Archer builds (84 endorsements).
- Simple concept: just stat growth changes, no other gameplay alterations.
- Active community interest with 1,477 downloads.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2016 — may not work with current game versions or mod setups.
- Only affects stat gains; doesn't add new skills or tweak other class mechanics.
For Dragon's Dogma players who want to optimize a Magick Archer without the hassle of switching vocations every level. If you're a min-maxer who hates the grind, this is a must-have. Skip if you're a casual player who doesn't care about perfect stat allocation.
