Nier Music Replacer

This mod replaces DDDA's music with that of Nier / Nier Automata.  As of 1. 0, I have not replaced all songs yet.  But this is the eventual goal.

Current Priorities for replacing music are major locations and battle themes.  I am sorry that certain themes are not present (Seneschal Boss, Dragon Fight) but they are only taking so long because I am making special mixes for those themes.  I have had to manually edit loops in for each and every song and have often played around with the layers of percussion/vocals/strings etc to make them fit better, just like in the Nier games themselves. :)  Needless to say, when you fight the Seneschal, the battle theme will be Shadowlord.

  Install Directions:

  It should be straightforward to both install and uninstall, even if you forget to back up your files.  It is relatively low-risk--the worst that can happen is that no background audio plays, if you really mess it up.  Crashes were rare as I messed around and tested, and were usually not caused by the music tinkering.

  FILES TO BACK UP:

  • []You will want to back up the whole folder of music at DDDA\nativePC\sound\stream\bgm\wave (this is wherever on your computer that your Steam games are installed).

    Just copy and paste the originals folder to somewhere else on your computer, or rename it to something like "OG_Wave" and you'll be all set.

    If you do not back these up, a reinstall of the game will restore your files to normal.  But if you want to easily uninstall the mod,
