📋 About This Mod
Do you hate when a game becomes simply trivial past the early game hardships? Are you a player who likes a challenge in your game rather than being constantly handed stuff? Do you like Dark Souls? Were you modding Witcher 3 with Enhanced Edition mod so that it bends you over and slaps your butt with a chainsaw on each and any encounter?
Well you just might be in the right place!
This mod changes the game in following ways:
- Starting Health is 800 and does not raise with levels (however can be enhanced by Augments!)
- Stamina raise per level is reduced (to roughly 2000 stamina at max level)
- All other stats raise per level are fixed to 1 (thanks to this you don't become too OP past early game and you don't need to worry about leveling certain vocations in certain order allowing for more vocation switching freedom)
- Augments affecting Health, Stamina and Damage received a slight buff to compensate A LITTLE for lower stat game. Some Augments received minor tweaks and bug fixes. I tried to keep most of them "in line". Overall Augments matter a lot more when determining what "class" of character you are aspiring to be.
- Sprinting stamina usage is halved so you can roam on foot more freely. (Combat is mostly unaffected but a random sprint mid battle won't screw you over as much anymore)
- Carrying weight is doubled (its just a QOL. Game pushes you to looting basically anything in your sight while punishing you for having anything more than the armor and weapons you are wearing - thanks to this there is just a lot less annoying inventory micromanagement but during my playing I usually sit around "Average" weight anyway so its not like you gonna get to be Very Light in super heavy armor and inventory full of crap).
THIS MOD REQUIRES A NEW GAME TO WORK! (Sorry no other way around that, unless you edit your save game and reduce character HP to 800 and Stamina to whatever the level should be at your level (it raises +6 per level))
