Berserk Equipment Restored

Installation Instructions:

Download and install the actual Berserk Equipment Restored file, this will put the arc files back in the game and the items back in Alon's shop. Then download and install the bbsrpg.arc for the AMR files, or alternatively the loose merge files if you already have bbsrpg.arc related mods. Next, download the Arcs.dll file, open the zip folder and paste the 3 arcs.dll files in your main DDDA folder. Finally, with Dinput8 installed, open dinput's configuration settings, scroll down to where it says Load additional Library (as seen in the images section of this page) and where it says "loadLibrary=", type in arcs.dll and save the document.

This mod restores the Berserk Equipment from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game in its entirety. They are available in Alon's shop after completing the quest "Of Merchants and Monsters" just like in the original game. They are able to be equipped, and have all of their proper stats. As a bonus, I was even able to extract some better textures for most of the equipment from Dragon's Dogma Online files. As such, most of the equipment is at or close to PC quality in relation to the rest of the equipment, though unfortunately some pieces are still at their PS3 resolution. My next goal for the restoration will be getting these re-made faithfully in 4k.

Warning: I don't recommend equipping the gear on pawns that you plan to rent out online, I don't know how the online servers will react, and the pawns will be without gear if the other player doesn't have this mod.

There is additional good news related to this mod. We had to create an injection that allowed edits to the DDDA.exe, so that the game could read the arc files that were removed from the PC version. As such, it is now finally possible to add new content to the game instead of always having to replace existing assets. I look forward to the new modding possibilities!
