📋 About This Mod
This mod replaces Rook’s starting armor with the Wanderer’s Long Coat for all classes.
There are 3 versions:
Vanilla - Standard Wanderer's Long Coat with Feathers
No Feathers - This will not effect the original Wanderer's Long Coat, just the starting armor.
Coat Only - This version has no feathers and no leather chest piece. It was not meant for Rook, and does work for all races, but there will be clipping. There is also a black recolor available. To use the recolor load the recolor below the main mod file.
It will not show in the CC but you will be wearing it at the start.
Compatible with The Swap Library as of version 0. 4a!
Coat Only version is NOT compatible with Swap Library!

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Gives every class a unified, stylish look from the get-go—no more mismatched starter rags.
- Tiny download and simple install, perfect for players who want a quick visual tweak.
- Community-tested with 52 endorsements, so it's likely stable for most users.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects the starting armor—once you upgrade, the coat is gone, so its impact is short-lived.
- No screenshots or detailed description provided, so you're flying blind on the exact look.
- Last updated in December 2024—might not be compatible with future game patches.
For players who want a bit of flair in the early game without overhauling the whole armor system. If you're tired of the default starter look and want something more wanderer-esque, this is a quick fix. Skip if you're looking for endgame gear or gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic and temporary.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple replacer, just drop the files into your mod folder and enable it in your mod manager—no extra steps needed.
- If you're using a mod manager, make sure this mod loads after any other armor mods to avoid conflicts.
- Check the mod's comments or forum thread for user screenshots if you want to see the coat before installing.
