Valuable Hints

The valuable reputation xp system is a mess. Sometimes the items which a faction gives more or less reputation xp don't actually make sense, and it's very imbalanced.

For example, the Lords of Fortune have 3 items for which they grant 75 rep xp, but none of the other factions have items which grant any more than 15 rep xp. Antivan Crows, Veil Jumpers, Mourn Watch and Shadow Dragons have 9-12 items which grant >3 rep xp, but the Grey Wardens have 16, and the Lords of Fortune have 22 (including those +75 items). It's possible this compensates for a disparity in quest-related reputation gains, but I can't say for sure.

Unfortunately, I can't fix that all that because I can't really get a handle on how the association between a valuable item asset and the table that determines how much rep xp it grants works. Because it's a mess.

However, I CAN add text to valuable item descriptions that indicates which faction will offer the most reputation gain for a particular item.

The added text will say "This item is cherished/prized/valued by Faction".

Cherished = 75 rep xp

Prized = 15 rep xp

Valued = 8 rep xp

If there is no text indicating the item is cherished/prized/valued by someone, then it grants only 3 rep xp at all vendors.

It's possible I missed some items, because again, the back-end to the valuable reputation gain mechanic is really opaque, so the only way I could see how much an item was worth was by checking in-game. If you come across something I missed, let me know and I'll fix it. I'm also including mod files so if you want to improve the mod, be my guest.
