The Nudeguard

This mod swaps out the casual outfits and underwear for male Rook, Davrin and Lucanis so they appear in the nude. Will affect their appearances at the Lighthouse, as well as Rook out in the world if you use the Wardrobe to set a casual outfit as your armor appearance.

There's usually a wealth of sexy female content in video game modding, so I was inspired to make something naughty for the men of the The Veilguard.

Currently, EBX edit mods can cause crashes in parts of the game due to an issue with the modding tools. If you install this mod, you may experience a crash at the Lighthouse while playing a cutscene with Bellara that occurs directly after recruiting Lucanis. I believe this crash can be avoided if you install/enable the mod after the cutscene has happened.

The error that was causing the game to crash at the Lighthouse should be fixed with the most recent version of the modding tools. If you haven't already, make sure to grab the latest release of the Mod Manager from the link below!

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS MOD:

Due to the way Frostbite works, this mod uses bundle edits that make the mod incompatible with other mods that edit the same bundle.

The mod uses a default nude male body from the game files, which means buttocks but no genitals. Nothing like that can be added without mesh editing, which is not available for the game yet. The default butt is also a bit lacking in definition, but I'm working on a texture replacement to counteract this.

The nude male body that I'm using in this mod appears to be more muscular than the default body that your Rook has when in underwear, which I didn't realize when I first created the mod. When mesh editing becomes available, I'll probably create a new version of this mod that utilizes edited meshes to make the characters nude so they can retain their intended body shapes.

The Lyrium dagger will still appear on your Rook's hip when walking around, but it shouldn't show in most cutscenes. If you're bothered by this, there's a mod here on Nexus that hides the dagger.

I believe the mod will work on all casual outfits and casual outfit variations for Davrin and Lucanis, which includes romance scenes. I haven't completed the game yet so I can't test the romances for myself.

The mod currently changes the casual wear for all six factions for male Rook. I may alter this behavior in the future, depending on feedback.

Currently, the Nudeguard includes only male Rook, Davrin and Lucanis. Emmrich has no unique body texture, which means his face and nude body don't match color, but I'm working on a fix for this so he can be added. There are other female nudity mods on Nexus, but I may add female characters depending on feedback.
