Jar of Bees

For some reason, seeing enemies engulfed in angry insects always makes me giggle. But, until DAI, only mages got to have that fun, so I've made a craftable Jar of Bees grenade for Origins as well.  :D

The grenade has the same effects as the "Stinging Swarm" spell, except that it does AOE physical damage (there already is a nature-damage grenade in the base game, but not a physical).

Only an enemy hit directly will be dealt additional damage over time, and the swarm will only spread from that enemy (Sera's still perfecting her recipe, I guess).

Friendlies will not take splash damage, however, they can still be hurt if directly targeted.

I also made an (optional) upgraded version for Awakening (since that's when you get access to Blood Lotus, the main ingredient in Inquisition).

As long as I was at it, I also made improved versions of the regular grenades, because unlike poisons and traps, grenades don't have better versions, even though they deal a fixed amount of damage and are pretty useless later on. :/

The upgraded versions deal the same amount of base damage, but have additional effects that scale up with Cunning, as well as extra range.

Crafting the Jar of Bees grenade requires Poison-Making level 3; all improved recipes require Poison-Making level 4.

The recipe for the Jar of Bees is a quest reward for the 'Friends of Red Jenny' quest in Denerim, or it can be obtained with the console command "give_bees_recipe".

The recipe for the Jar of Bees and Wasps can be acquired from the Amaranthine bartender, or by using the console command "give_wasps_recipe".

(be warned that if you give yourself this recipe during the main campaign, the list of ingredients will not display properly unless you have Awakening in the OC or similar installed)

The recipes for the other improved grenades can be found in Cesar's "special stock" in Denerim or with the Amaranthine bartender, or by using the console command "all_the_recipes".

If using the version with the Jar of Bees and Wasps, I highly recommend Better Henley's Apothecary, because resources are scarce in Awakening, and more grenades = more fun.
