ELF the follower cat

############################################ It\'s not gonna happen. I was waiting on developing this package until I\'d enough knowledge of the basics. In that time, i created a few other mods. But also in that time I\'ve lost interest in the programming part. So I will not be getting back to ELF the follower. If anyone wants to take over this project let me know and I can pass along all I\'ve learned. I will leave this up as it works, if minimally. ! ++ Angel ############################################ ====================== This project has taken more time and energy than I expected. So for now I have created a simpler version. \"ELF the pet cat\" can be DL\'d here http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=956 ... ELF pet has no skills or talents, is always level 1, and should be unkillable. He does NOT steal a party slot. / This is an alpha version. It still needs much work. DL and use if you wish (it\'s safe). But expect some minor hassles. I\'m only uploading it now because several people have expressed interest. / ELF is a cat familiar whose mage companion died at Ostagar. After loading this mod, you can visit the Wonders of Thedas shop in Denerim. ELF will be hanging out on a comfy rug just inside the door. Talk to her, pet her a bit, and she will agree to adopt you. + she will happily follow you around. + she will fight along side you, but until the magic thing is worked out she only has a physical attack. Tho it is cute to see her walk up and bat at darkspawn with one paw. :) + she should be unkillable. if she gets down to 0HP, she should die but then get up at the end of the fight. This makes her harder to lose until I get her spells working. + she should have the same number of stat points of any character in your party. + her movement animations work. that is you can watch her run after you. + she follows fine and will stay with you thru area transitions, unlike some summoned pets. + she does not take up the summoned pet slot, so you can still summon a wolf or bear when she\'s in the party. (I may eventually set her up to summon her own wolf. :) + cheats work with her. for example: \"runscript zz_supercrit pty_elf_cat\" will max her health and mana and give her 50 str and 50 dex. - this mod is untested with Awakening. - I\'ve set her up as a mage, but she still has trouble casting spells. (i\'m working on it) - she takes up a party slot - she does not yet want to show up in the party select screen or the party camp. (I\'m working on it!) For now, i\'ve added an icon in your inventory which shows a sleepy ELF lounging on your pack. Click this and she should rejoin your party (in case you\'ve booted her out and want her back) - she meows a lot when she follows you around. If this starts to bother folks, i may have to find a way to turn down the frequency of the meow. - for some reason, the purr sound effect is still not working. so you won\'t kn
