This mod will put an icon in your pack at first load which will summon ELF, the cat. It\'s simplest to copy this icon to your \'button bar\' at the bottom of the screen. (Note: dragging that bar to the right will make it longer and give you more button slots.) .. ELF the pet has no skills or talents, is always level 1, and should be unkillable. .. The first time you click this icon it will summon ELF. Talk to him and you can ask him to adopt you. .. He will join your party and follow you around. .. Click his icon again and he will wander off. .. Each subsequent click will either summon or dismiss ELF. .. He does not take a character slot so you can have a full party and have ELF follow you. .. ELF has 3 cat fur colors in addition to the system default color and he can change them in game. Just talk to him and ask him to change. When he gets bored, he will go back to his basic color. ((Note to make a change permanent, that is to change his base color, you will need to find the appropriate skins in your \'...core/override/Elf the Pet Cat/textures\' folder (both high and medium diirectories). For rainbow, copy all c_catr_ files. Rename the copies (not the originals) to c_cata_... For black, do the same with c_catx. For Siamese, it\'s c_cats_.)) ..
