Story Mode - Even Easier Casual Difficulty (Frosty and DAIMOD)

On your 10th playthrough? Tired of sealing rifts? Then this is the mod for you!

This mod makes Casual mode even easier by making the following changes:

• []Enemies only have 20% of their normal health, and deal a paltry 10% of their normal damage to you.

• []Allies will always be revived with full health.

  []All enemy resistances have been significantly lowered.

  []Enemy barrier and guard strength have been reduced considerably.

  []Enemies will no longer get a huge stat boost if they are three levels above you, although the red skull icon will still appear under their health bar (it's a separate part of the UI).

  []Duration of status ailments (burning, stunned, etc.) is significantly shorter. This change only applies to you, of course -- enemies will still suffer the full length of any debuffs you inflict.

  []Enemies have a longer cooldown between special abilities. Again, your own cooldowns are not penalized.

  []Enemies will take longer to first use their special abilities, if they have any, at the start of combat.

  Please note you must set your difficulty to "Casual" for the mod to take effect.

  Can I switch between this and other difficulty levels without having to uninstall the mod?

  You sure can! This mod only affects Casual difficulty. For instance, you can play on Normal and have the vanilla gameplay experience, then when you get tired of combat or find a part too hard, you can just switch to Casual in the settings menu and the mod will turn on. When you're ready for normal combat again, just switch back to "Normal" in the settings menu and the mod will turn off. Switch back and forth to your heart's content!

  I use a mod that raises the level cap to 50. Will this mod still work?

  It sure will! This mod is perfectly compatible with any mod that raises the level cap to 50.

  What's the "Zero Effort" version?

  It's an optional variant of the main mod that includes all the above changes but also weakens enemies even further, reducing enemy health to 5% of normal and enemy damage to 1% of normal. Use either Zero Effort or the main Story Mode mod, NOT BOTH. If you still find enemies a little too bullet-spongey even with the main version of the mod installed, give it a try.

  I've fully playtested it, and enemies die even more quickly, as you'd expect; in addition, you're practically impossible to kill, especially if you have a mage casting Barrier every so often, since the cooldown for Barrier will run out before enemies can deplete your current Barrier.
