Infinite Respec Amulet (Tactician's Renewal) - For Frosty and DAIMOD

This mod prevents a Tactician's Renewal amulet from being destroyed on equip, allowing you to use a single amulet infinitely.

How is this mod different from the other one on the Nexus?

Firstly, it was made with the more advanced Frosty Editor and later converted into a DAIMOD rather than being made with the older DAI ModMaker tool; secondly, it does not have any risk of crashes.

This mod was made from scratch using Frosty Editor, and makes only one simple change: disabling the flag on the amulet's EBX file that makes it destroy itself on equip. In all likelihood, the fact that this was controlled by a single flag in the EBX file was information that was unavailable to the original mod author, as it was made several years ago. Unaware or unable to simply disable the flag, the other mod makes a number of changes, including to the game's central plot database and the inventory files of Haven and Skyhold merchants, presumably as a workaround. This is likely the source of crashes reported by some users.

Can I install this on an existing save?

You sure can! Even if you've already bought a Tactician's Renewal amulet, the mod will apply retroactively, so any amulets you already have will be made infinite-use, even if you bought them before installing the mod.

Frosty Installation

• []Unzip the .fbmod to a folder of your choice, then drag and drop it over the mod list in Frosty Mod Manager (it's the left side of the window).

  []Click on "Infinite Respec Amulet (Tactician's Renewal)", then click the "Apply Mod(s)" button at the top (the button will have a right arrow on it).

  []"Infinite Respec Amulet (Tactician's Renewal)" should now appear in the Applied Mods list on the right, at the bottom of the list. Make sure it has a checkmark next to it, then the "Launch" button at the top.

  Frosty Uninstallation

  Uncheck the box next to "Infinite Respec Amulet (Tactician's Renewal)" in Frosty Mod Manager's Applied Mods list.
